My name is Jake Mann, and I was born and raised near Houston, Texas into a rodeo family. I grew up around agriculture, often helping on my grandfather’s farming and ranching enterprises in Matagorda County. While my family traveled to rodeos around the state, we often visited South Texas, becoming fond of the landscape and the history. I’ve worked as a water well drilling hand with Shepherd Drilling off and on for 20 years in Uvalde, Zavala, Dimmit, La Salle, Frio, Medina, and Atascosa Counties. In 2010 I started a 10-year career with Cameron International in the oil field and advanced my way up to a location manager. The experience I gained has allowed me to better understand the importance of water to local farmers and ranchers. During my rodeo, water well, and oil field life I’ve also have been running beef cattle and specialty cattle on 2,000 acres in Uvalde County. My work ethic and agricultural background will be beneficial as I strive to help Buyers and Sellers find their ideal ranch property.
