As a native Texan born in Midland and growing up in Tarrant County, his family has deep Texas roots in East and North Central Texas. He is familiar with many areas of the state from travelling to see family and friends, and conducting business as a commercial bank lender.
Randy earned a BBA in Economics and Finance from Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, as well as a Master of Science degree in Finance with a Real Estate concentration from Texas A&M University in College Station.
He has been a community banker for over 40 years holding senior lending positions and served most recently as president and CEO of a DFW bank for over 12 years prior to its sale in 2022. His career has given him the opportunity to be involved in a multitude of real estate transactions from land acquisition, multi-use development and large construction projects.
Randy is married to the love of his life, Rita. They have 2 children and 4 grandchildren. They enjoy traveling, live music, history, and being out in nature. Randy also enjoys golf and photography.
